Meditation, as we've heard has many benefits, such as more clarity, inner peace, a stress-free life, and room for creativity; yet these just side benefits! The book talks about the true benefit being the experience of having a direct connection with God or the creative energy of life itself, via getting into the gap between our thoughts.

As Dr. Wayne W. Dyer simply states, "A gap is an exquisite place! It's a place where miracles occur," and what's even more magical is that the gap is accessible by everyone on this planet, at any time!

Be comfortable when you're meditating, as it can take many forms. I often am lying on my back. Sometimes when I'm in a waiting room, I'll use the time to meditate to my breath for a couple of minutes.

Short exercises:

1) Can you think of a time when you were "in the zone" and everything just came more naturally? Where your creativity, and your energy just flowed, and perhaps you were having so much fun, you even lost track of time? What was it that got you in this energetic place? How can you intentionally bring yourself back to this place in times of stress, anxiety, and chaos?

2) What are some mindfulness exercises you currently practice? Do you notice the impact it has on your everyday life?
