Meet my once arch-nemesis and now friend, dyslexia. I say arch-nemesis because not that long ago, I resented my diagnosis. I resented what I thought others felt about me. I resented their knowing eyes and their dismissing glances. After years of stumbling through post-secondary and then a business career, I suddenly decided all those glances didn’t matter. Join me as I recount my journey with dyslexia, bring to light what it is really like to attempt to live and work within those limitations and show you how I started to heal my insecure heart through self-acceptance.
